Staying Organised at University

So, bucket list goal number #105 is to Graduate University and although I am not yet finished and cannot tick this "little" number off my list of achievements, I am going into my final year and so far there is quite a lot I have learnt about being and staying productive, organised and prepared. My first few years of university have been slightly muddled and incoherent. I struggled with organisation which meant that files were everywhere and I could hardly ever find my papers and my notes. My grades were also all over the place due to not showing up to lectures, or preparing for classes, or doing any of the set reading to be honest. So I've decided to make my final year at university, not only easier for myself, but more productive and better organised. And this is how I have planned to do so. Thoughts vs. Actions

I recently read a quote by an ancient emperor called Marcus Aurelius, and it said "the soul becomes dyed with the colour of its thoughts" and it made me think about the way that I act and how a lot of the motives behind my actions tend to be influenced and driven by thoughts and moods. If I feel cranky or upset, I will probably sit around and avoid responsibilities, maybe even snap at someone or lash out verbally. But if I'm happy or excited my behaviour is a lot more positive and I treat people with the respect they deserve. The thing about our thoughts is that they are easily manipulated by our environment and surroundings, our experiences, our core beliefs, and our outlook and perspective on the world. If we were to try (and I speak for myself also) to transform our perspectives, no matter the situation, into positive ones then our actions would then be more useful and will increase in productivity causing positive change. Weekend In Paris

A few weeks ago I had the amazing opportunity to go to Paris with my best friend Steven and we had an amazing time together. Not only did I get to experience a new culture and have an amazing adventure creating new memories, but I was also able to tick a few things off my list.
